- Considering the post-Soviet historiography in the discourse of historical culture, the authoridentifi es and analyzes its three main sub-cultures. This is a folk subculture, refl ecting perceptionsof history by mass public consciousness. This is a state-political subculture, created in one way oranother through the medium of state order, by party publicists and ideologues. This is a scholarlyacademic subculture, created by professionals based on documentary sources and disciplinary criteriaof history.
