- The investigation of Northern Caucasia image in modern Russia’s socio-political discourse bringsthe authors to the following conclusion. A pathway to cope with excessive ethnicism and historicism in political thinking toward this region connected with an acceptance of rationalist, scientific-cognitive attitudes.
