- Abstract
- The author examines the causes of hunger in 1933, and emphasizes the biological aspect of theproblem. The peasants have left a lot of grain in the fi elds during the “agrarian strike.” An abundanceof food caused an unusual biological phenomenon, an explosive reproduction of mice. The mice havedestroyed the grain in the fi elds, and it became one of the causes of hunger.
