Abstract
The text examines a concept of Basque confl ict presented in the monograph. Its key points analysis (correlation of territorial community and ethnicity, multiplicity of identities, centre – periphery relationships) admits the monographers to distinguish conditions under which politicization and depoliticization of “periphery” takes place.
