- Abstract
- Article contains refl ections over Tomsk historian E. Dutchak's book about the Old-Believer’s sect of runners. Authors consider this community as some kind of alternative of the Russian civilization. It concerns ways of judgement of some key ideologem (for example, ‘a way’), views on modernization, including rationality and the perception to the power. Infl uences of ideology of Old Believers on projects of the Russian industrialists of beginning of the ХХ century are analyzed.
