- Abstract
- The article highlighted three main models of administration and fi nancing of the preparation for the Olympic Games. Discusses the successes and failures of the Olympic Winter Games in 1972–2014. The comparative analysis of main Games characteristics and key fi nancial indicators are done. The article deals with the fi rst results of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014. Shows the impact on the development of the resort town and the Krasnodar Territory in general.
