- Abstract
- In the modern Russia there is no common understanding of fairness by different social groups, but it is nonetheless possible to assess the validity of their own position, and social fairness for the assessment of the situation in the society. Observed by most Russian citizens the unfairness of contemporary Russian society is combined with a dream about it in the future. Russian citizens would like to get fairness, fi rst of all, from the state, but it can not cope with this task. This increases the protest potential in society, but the public debate about fairness, which could contribute to the development of consensus in its understanding and achievement, is not implemented.
