- More C.M. Seredonin, highlighting the complaints about the abuses of the governors of the reign of Alexander I, drew attention to the "very strange act" of the Olonets civil governor, who sent the provincial solicitor AA to an insane asylum. Karabutov. However, neither the name of the governor, nor the motives and consequences of his actions were disclosed. Meanwhile, this episode is very interesting for understanding the situation of governors in the first quarter of the 19th century, their capabilities and relationships with local officials and higher authorities.
