Abstract

The article introduces the festival of Latin American cinema, which is virtually unknown to our viewers. It has been held in Spain, the Catalonian town of Lleida since 1995. The author offers a historical overview of the event, discusses the competition and parallel programs of the Festival 2010 and analyses the winning films.
