Abstract
The first horses appeared on the Latin American continent in the XV century. These were the Spanish Andalusians who accompanied the conquistadors. The history of the transformation of the Andalusians into Creole horses is no less interesting than the history of the formation of states and peoples. This article describes the national pride of Argentina — Creole horses, which play an important role in the practical and cultural life of Argentines.
