- Abstract
- In article the concept “Moscow – the Third Rome” is considered, the marginality of this mythologem in the Moscow kingdom of XVI century is shown. In literature of that time the idea of inheritance of Moscow not to Rome, but to Kiev is spent. Popularity of the conception “Moscow – the Third Rome” is connected with historiography XIX–XX centuries and geopolitical factors of that epoch.
