- Abstract
- Two aspects of a modern constitution are analyzed: symbolic and instrumental. The results ofpost-Soviet constitutional design, perspectives, trends and options are considered from the theory ofconstitutional cycles or its future development . Various tools of constitutional modernization to achievereconciliation between the symbolic and instrumental values of the Constitution are proposed.
