- Abstract
- In article the current state of discussion of historians about character and reasons of the October revolution of 1917 is considered. The orientation of strike working-class movement, number of fi ghters in groups of Red guards, a parity of soldier's masses and the Red guards as revolutionary forces, a role of Soviets in October events of 1917 are analyzed. A new design of interrelation of concepts “coup d’état” and “revolution” is offered.
