- In article applicability of various theories of revolution (Marxist, Malthusian, modernization,institutional, psychosocial and others) when studying preconditions and the reasons of Russianrevolution of 1917 is estimated and also the most adequate, from the point of view of the author, anexplanation of her origin is offered.
