- Abstract
- In this article, Bulgakov's works are regarded as an artistic display and comprehension, in thecontext of the great Russian literature, of the catastrophic changes that occurred in the country's cultural paradigm after the October events оf 1917. The analysis of the nature and causes of the psychological break in anamnesis of the Soviet society and “Soviet man” allowed Bulgakov, for the fi rsttime history, to reveal the devastating phenomenon of lies, backed up by terror, as a destructive and enslaving factor of social development.
