- Abstract
- In article the main problems of historical knowledge of the Russian civilization revealed in the course of the analysis of a modern domestic historiography are considered: defi nitions of the basic concepts, content of civilization approach, epistemological basis of civilization researches, time and space of a civilization, mentality of Russians and Russian polymentality. Lacunas in civilization knowledge about Russia are revealed.
